McCambridge’s is a family run fine foods and wine business which was established in 1925, and still operates from the same premises where it all started.  The third generation of the Galway McCambridge family - Eoin and his two sisters Natalie and Norma work side by side with their team of staff, always putting the customer first.  

Everyone knows that McCambridge’s deli counter offers the greatest range and value in quality sandwiches, breads, soups, fresh salads, cheeses and meats. With freshly cooked chicken and ham and salads carefully prepared in McCambridge’s kitchens each day this ensures the flavour and freshness isn’t compromised for the customer. McCambridge’s have recently undergone a major renovation.  Eat al fresco on Shop Street where they have installed their lovely seating area outside. Here customers can take a break and enjoy the quality coffee from their Café Bar with gorgeous cakes from Goya’s.

With the completion of the new layout they have forged new partnerships with other well-known Galway food producers - meats from CR Tormey’s master butchers and James McGeough of Oughterard, speciality teas from Solaris Botanicals, pasture fed poultry and pork from The Friendly Farmer in Athenry, rustic breads from Fréderic Gervais of Le Petit Delice, , as well as relishes and chutneys from Builín Blasta to name but a few.

Mouth watering Murphy’s ice creams have arrived from Kerry with over forty delicious flavours available by the scoop or in a cone – lovely. In the chill cabinet lie a vast array of smoothies and juices as well as McCambridge’s freshly squeezed orange juice.

McCambridge’s have long established their name as specialists in food and wine and have developed long term relationships with clients who order their wine annually for all the seasonal and special occasions. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas time are well catered for with McCambridge’s vast knowledge on the wines they import direct from the wine producers throughout the world.
