Finally(sorry for the delay) Maire Dufficy recipes from our food and wine fair last November. These are great winter warmers. The bacon is a perfect 'special dinner', (as we call them in our house) and then there should be some left over for Monday supper too. The tagine is easy, it just takes a bit of time to cook. Make it up the night before and set the timer on the oven the next day. Enjoy

Ok so summer has been looking a bit dodgy, with sunshine a bit lacking, but at least the rain is warmer! Sun or no sun I love fresh lemonade for summer time supping. This is a great recipe, easy, cheap, very lemony and not too sweet.

A very easy recipe for double chocolate brownies with both cocoa and chocolate. This can also be made as a great gluten free option. Maybe some of that excess Easter egg chocolate can be put to good use!

The new seasons range of dried fruits, candied fruits, angelica and nuts have all come into stock. What is the difference between a raisin, a sultana and a currant?? And my mothers great receipe for Christmas Pudding.
